Adult must actively supervise at all times.
Pool play needs active, close, undistracted adult supervision for the whole activity.
Poolside checks
- Keep a supervising adult watching the water, not a phone or chore.
- Confirm flotation support for non-swimmers before anyone enters the pool area.
- Keep towels, water, sunscreen, and a clear exit path close by.
- Pause the activity immediately for thunder, fatigue, unsafe running, or rough play.
